CUPCCAA

On October 26, 2021, the Scotts Valley Unified School District elected to become subject to the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA).  Per Section 22034(a) of the Public Contract Code, the Scotts Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) is maintaining a database of contractors interested in bidding on SVUSD public works projects.  All licensed contractors must submit information for inclusion on the list of qualified bidders for the 2022 calendar year.

CUPCCAA is under the umbrella of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission and provides for alternative bidding procedures when an agency performs public project work by contract.

1. Public projects of $60,000 or less may be performed by negotiated contract or by purchase order (PCC22032(a)).

2 . Public projects of $200,000 or less may be let to contract by the informal procedures set forth in the Act (PCC22032(b)).

3. Public projects of more that $200,000 shall be let to contract by formal bidding procedures (PCC22032(c)).

Interested parties are invited to register with SVUSD for upcoming projects by filling out a registration application form.

Please label the application 'CUPCCAA Registration Packet' and submit to:

Scotts Valley Unified School District Attention: Mary Navas, CBO 108 Whispering Pines Drive, #115 Scotts Valley, CA 95066

Applications may also be submitted via email to:                 mnavas@scottsvalleyusd.org

SVUSD has completed all the necessary requirements to participate in this alternative bidding process and solicits your firm to register.
