Scotts Valley Family-Friendly Community Events

Whether you are looking for something fun to do with the family or want to find a way to give back to two local organizations that help support SVUSD, here are some upcoming family-friendly community events:

Scotts Valley Educational Foundation (SVEF)

SVEF is a proud donor of the Scotts Valley Unified School District and continues to help support essential programs at all four Scotts Valley schools. Funds raised by SVEF help pay for librarian and counselor salaries, enhance the SVHS Wellness Center, and respond to specific teacher requests at all four schools within the District.

This year, SVEF aims to raise $150,000 through its Give Where You Live annual campaign. Your tax-deductible one-time or monthly gift, in any amount, has a powerful, lasting impact on every student in Scotts Valley. Please help SVEF reach its fundraising goal by donating here: https://www.svef.net/donate.

As part of their fundraising efforts, SVEF will host the VIP and Me Family Dance on September 20, 2025, at the Cocoanut Grove on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk—a wonderful opportunity to support our schools and enjoy a fun evening with family and friends. You can also contribute to their efforts by visiting the Wine and Beer Garden at our community’s monthly Food Truck Fridays at Skypark.

To learn more about SVEF, purchase tickets for the VIP and Me dance, or make a donation, please visit www.svef.net.
